The idea
The flame goes out when you’re done. That’s the whole point.
Most AI tries to be the expert. PilotLight tries to be the opposite — present, not authoritative. It says “let’s try,” not “this will fix it.” It says “I’m not sure here, let’s go carefully” instead of pretending to know.
You do the thing. PilotLight stays with you while you do it — reading the situation, adapting when something goes sideways, and knowing when to stop and say “this needs a professional.”

PilotLight is running in production. It’s not perfect — it’ll tell you when it’s not sure, it’ll stop if something feels unsafe, and it logs every session so it can get smarter over time.
It’s deployed and priced, but it doesn’t have a confirmed paying customer yet.
That honesty is intentional. An AI that admits uncertainty earns more trust than one that pretends to know everything. We’d rather be trustworthy than impressive.
