Hearth: The Rebrand
June 21, 2026
ForgeHome becomes Hearth — quiet day AI, recipe auto-save, nav overhaul, and a full warm amber brand across app and website.
Timeline
What shipped
Quiet day AI — when 0/0 route, surfaces notebook items + week lookahead with creative Claude suggestions
Recipe ingredients AI route — POST /api/ai/recipe-ingredients, fuzzy match saved recipes first, fallback to Claude
Recipe auto-save from week page — adding a dish fires save-recipe automatically
RecipeBook 'Fill ingredients' button — Sparkles icon, Enter key triggers generation, inline feedback note
Ingredient display fix — single line quantity + name instead of ugly two-column layout
MealCapture removed — WeekCapture is the single meal log entry point
Capture → Notebook — nav label only, URL stays /capture
4+More mobile nav — 4 primary tabs + More drawer for Plan, Curriculum, Handoff, Settings
Grocery event collapse — tap event header to collapse/expand dish ingredient groups
ForgeHome → Hearth — app name, layout wordmarks, root metadata
Warm amber palette — globals.css full rewrite, sidebar brown #1C1410, primary #C17A2E
Teal hardcodes removed — HandoffCourtney, HandoffZeb, background tile pattern removed
Website Hearth product page — hearthliving.jpg hero, amber #C17A2E throughout
Website homepage card — Hearth name, hearthliving.jpg, updated copy
Nav + Footer updated — ForgeHome → Hearth in all nav entries and footer links
“The home has a plan. Now it's written down.”
