1

Resend env vars are per Vercel project — don't assume they carry over

If Resend works in Forge, the key is set on Forge's project. The forgekit-website project needs its own copy. Always check /api/debug-contact (or equivalent) before assuming the key is missing vs wrong.

2

Don't test email sending locally — deploy and test live

Resend requires a verified sending domain. Local dev doesn't satisfy domain verification. The form appearing to submit locally proves nothing. Ship it and test from the production URL.

3

mailto: links don't work in Chrome without a default mail client configured

Never use mailto: as the primary send mechanism for a contact form. It silently fails for most desktop Chrome users. Use a server action instead.

The trends page should answer: what worked, how fast, and what's next. Not just how many spins.
